Personal Support Worker (Night Shift)

Mon Sheong Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in Richmond Hill. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized care to residents, respecting their dignity and privacy;
  • Implement resident care plans to promote residents' overall well-being;
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Observe and document residents' behavioral, emotional, and physical patterns;
  • Implement infection control measures and isolation techniques as needed;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Resident Care/Assistant Director of Resident Care.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School Diploma and a Personal Support Worker Certificate;
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification;
  • 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility;
  • Medical certificate of good physical and mental health;
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights;
  • Proficiency in oral and written English;
  • Bilingual in Chinese is an asset.
