We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team on the Gordie Howe - Bridging North America Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of this complex project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of project activities, including the management of subcontractors and construction schedules.
  • Develop and maintain project records, including safety reports, quality control documents, and construction schedules.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and superintendents to ensure that project activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan and specifications.
  • Assist in the development of project reports, including progress reports, safety reports, and quality control reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including the preparation of meeting minutes, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Assist in the management of project resources, including the coordination of equipment, materials, and labor.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of project safety plans and procedures.
  • Assist in the identification and mitigation of project risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and contracts, to ensure that project activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager or superintendent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering, Civil preferred.
  • Craft certification, training, and 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
  • Ability to use various computer programs and applications for job execution.
