About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler Assistant to join our team at CITY FURNITURE (DC) LTD. As a Material Handler Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ship orders and pick orders and stock.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and use computerized inventory control systems to manage inventories.
  • Product Preparation: Make labels and attach to goods, wrap goods, pack and unpack goods, and install, lash, and secure goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or inventory management setting.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
