Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Lethbridge. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing electrical work and millwright tasks in our manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical work and millwright tasks to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including AC/DC drives, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, VFDs/PLCs, air-actuated valves, and pneumatics
  • Maintain a variety of machines, including compressors, boilers, and pumps
  • Work with Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs (no programming required)
  • Use welding skills to work with stainless steel
  • Upgrade machines as needed
  • Recommend process improvements to management
Requirements:
  • Journeyman (or Red Seal) Electrician or Millwright ticket
  • Familiarity with the maintenance world
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (2 on/2 off/5 on/5 off) or straight night shifts
  • Availability to be the only maintenance person on duty during night shifts
  • Ability to work well with others and be a self-starter
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with older, well-maintained equipment
