Job Title: Java Technical Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Technical Team Lead to join our team at Agility PR Solutions LLC. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and architecture for our media monitoring platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead a talented team of Java developers and drive the future of our media monitoring platform.
  • Architecture and Design: Design and implement new features and architecture for our platform.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Share your expertise with junior developers and help them grow.
  • Code Quality and Review: Oversee code quality, technical debt, and apply best practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders and product teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Java development with hands-on experience in Java, SQL, Linux, and Git.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Solr, Kafka, Zookeeper; RESTful services; multi-threading; and code-review practices.
  • Bonus: Experience with Maven, Hibernate, Angular/Typescript, C#,.NET is a plus.
  • Communication: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
