Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on massage therapy treatments to clients, including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and other modalities as needed.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, and medical doctors, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Nova Scotia (CMTNS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
