Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation
    • Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
    • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Painting and Finishing
    • Mix paint to the desired color and texture.
    • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation
    • Operate various painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, and conventional spray painting machines.
  • Customer Service
    • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
    • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
