What Does Your Day Look Like at Edon Properties Inc.? 

  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of operations for assigned building portfolios, including guiding, supporting, and training employees and subcontractors on site.
  • Participate in training new personnel and develop and implement goals, objectives, and policies related to operational needs.
  • Perform regular building operations and maintenance responsibilities as required.
  • Collaborate with operational and contract management teams to effectively carry out property management activities.
  • Ensure contract terms are met, including reporting requirements, and adhere to specified standards in accordance with contract provisions.
  • Respond to service requests and emergencies.
  • Represent the organization favorably while addressing client issues and concerns.

What Do You Need to Succeed? 

  • A valid 4th Class or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate of Competency.
  • A minimum of five years of hands-on building operations experience, preferably in a commercial building environment.
  • Experience in a Power Engineering lead role involving team management is considered an asset.
  • A comprehensive understanding of building operations and building systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of CMMS and BMCS.
  • Exceptional skills in customer service, client liaisoning, and leadership, with the ability to lead a team to achieve standards and objectives.
  • A valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract.
