About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Planner I to join our dynamic Satellite Systems team in Montreal. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and timely execution of production activities for our cutting-edge satellite systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, taking into account material availability, resource constraints, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless production flow.
- Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing production processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
