About the Role

First Onsite is seeking a full-time Cleaner / General Labourer to provide general cleaning, moving, and packing at both the customer's site and in the shop to prepare for rebuild and repair construction work.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the contents and belongings of our clients are safely removed and packed so that the necessary rebuild and repair work can be done.
  • Take great care while packing and moving boxes as well as loading furniture.
  • Work with the Encircle app to list and document restorable and non-restorable contents both in the warehouse and on customer sites.
  • Move customer property to their previous condition in a timely manner.
  • Conduct general everyday cleaning in addition to pre-construction and post-construction cleaning.
  • Clean household contents at both the warehouse and on customer sites.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal record
  • Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items
  • Strong computer skills
  • Willing to work on-call for after-hours emergency work
  • Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
