Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a Cashier to join our team in St-Georges de Beauce. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with every interaction
  • Operate a cash register, accurately processing transactions and handling customer payments
  • Restock merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure health and safety policies are followed
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse customer base
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with a typical schedule consisting of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).

Keyholder Premium:

As a Keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring all areas are tidy, and completing end-of-shift tasks. You will also be responsible for security, including locking and setting the alarm.
