Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at IS2 Thornhill. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate shipments and manage customs documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Receive and inspect incoming packages, and route materials to the correct department.
  • Direct workflow in the packaging department to ensure shipments are ready to leave by the requested date.
  • Maintain shipping materials inventory and pull stock as required.
  • Document transactions and flow of controlled goods to/from stock.
  • Schedule and follow up with carriers to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping/receiving area and operate a forklift as needed.
Requirements:
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment.
  • Extensive experience preparing international shipments, including customs documents (NAFTA Cert, Commercial Invoice, B13).
  • Knowledge of major couriers (FedEx, Purolator, UPS) and their respective software packages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Forklift License Required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
