Fabric Designer Job Description

SHIVROOP TEXTILE INC is seeking a skilled Fabric Designer to join our team. As a Fabric Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality fabrics for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of designers and production staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Design and develop new fabric collections, considering factors such as color, texture, and pattern.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design concepts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure our fabrics remain competitive and desirable.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as textile design or fashion design.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and textile production processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
