The OpportunityWe are seeking a reliable and skilled Bus Driver to join our team on a call-in basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our fleet of buses on various trips within Alberta, ensuring the safety and comfort of our students.
To be successful in this role, you will need a valid Class 1, Class 2, or Class 4 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract. Certification in Hours of Service, Daily Pre-Trip Inspection, Cargo Securement, and Weights and Dimensions is preferred. You will also be required to complete a road test and meet with our mechanic and safety officer for orientation.
Key Responsibilities- Drive our fleet of buses on various trips within Alberta
- Ensure the safety and comfort of our students
- Meet with our mechanic and safety officer for orientation
- Complete a road test
We offer a competitive hourly driving rate of $18.23, hourly waiting time rate of $15.18, and a minimum daily rate of $51.64. Overtime rates are payable for hours of work in excess of 10 hours daily and 50 hours weekly.
Conditions of Employment- Current Criminal Reference check that is free of any offenses
