Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clean utensils, dishes, and other kitchen items to dining areas and arrange tables appropriately.
  • Remove and sanitize tables, trays, and seating areas after use.
  • Assist in loading and unloading buspans and trays.
  • Utilize dishwashing equipment to ensure all kitchenware is thoroughly cleaned.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Restock condiments and supplies at dining tables and service stations.
  • Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items as needed.
  • Scrub and clean pots and pans to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Maintain records of food inventory and usage.
  • Prepare take-out orders and package food items appropriately.
  • Measure and wrap food portions for service.
  • Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple dishes.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness.
  • Utilize both manual and electric tools for food preparation tasks such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
  • Ensure the kitchen area, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment, is kept clean and sanitized.
  • Handle and store cleaning supplies safely.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in various storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen knives by sharpening as necessary.
  • Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
