Position Overview:
As a Lead Telecommunications Project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of integrated design at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. Our team is dedicated to innovative and sustainable design practices that enhance the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop various telecommunications systems adhering to TIA/EIA/BICSI standards and industry best practices.
- Provide comprehensive technical support for Stantec's projects and ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
- Prepare detailed proposals and offer mentorship to junior technologists and engineers.
- Create technical documentation including pathway drawings, low voltage device plans, and system specifications.

Technology Systems:
Your expertise will encompass a range of technology systems, including but not limited to:
- Electronic Security Systems
- Structured Cabling Systems
- Paging and Wireless Systems
- Data Network Systems

Project Management:
- Conduct pre-engagement and post-engagement site visits, customer discovery meetings, and on-site assessments.
- Deliver thorough reports and reviews of project deliverables.
- Act as a technical resource for Field Engineers and provide guidance and training as needed.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in telecommunications.
- Proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of Canadian electrical standards and codes.
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills are essential.

Work Environment:
This role typically involves working in an office setting with extended periods of computer use. Fieldwork may require exposure to various weather conditions.
