Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Software Applications Engineer to deliver exceptional support for our clients across the entire software ecosystem, from application interfaces to embedded firmware. This role requires a strong commitment to mastering our current offerings and actively contributing to their ongoing development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication and technical writing abilities, with a strong desire to create tailored demonstrations that highlight the distinctiveness of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support and Interaction : Act as the primary contact for client inquiries and technical assistance regarding our software solutions. Provide hands-on support to clients, diagnosing issues and guiding them through solutions. Work closely with internal engineering teams to escalate and resolve more intricate challenges. Technical Knowledge and Development : Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about our lidar technology, software solutions, and product functionalities. Cultivate in-depth knowledge of existing products to ensure effective support and maintenance. Documentation and Resource Development : Generate and revise technical documentation, including user manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides. Contribute to the creation and upkeep of the company's knowledge repository. Demonstrations and Applications : Collaborate with lidar sensors to develop application-specific demonstrations. Create prototypes and demos to showcase the unique features and benefits of our offerings. Deliver technical presentations to clients, illustrating product capabilities and applications. Communication and Teamwork : Effectively communicate with clients, understanding their requirements and providing clear, concise assistance. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including hardware and software engineering, to ensure comprehensive support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support or applications engineering capacity. Strong technical foundation with experience in software development, embedded systems, and firmware. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python) and relevant software tools. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a commitment to ongoing learning. Exceptional communication and technical writing skills. Hands-on experience with lidar technology or sensors is highly advantageous. Ability to design and present technical demonstrations and prototypes. Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or industry events.
