Litigation Associate - Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience in construction law and construction-related insurance defence work to join our team at Ignite Talent Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle multiple files through the litigation process independently and as part of an experienced team.
  • Carry out own files and work with senior counsel on complex matters.
  • Negotiate and litigate all types of construction disputes.
  • Advise clients on the negotiation and drafting of construction-related contracts, including design-build, construction management, stipulated sum prime contracts, and subcontracts.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the Construction Act and other relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' post-call experience with demonstrated knowledge and interest in Litigation, particularly construction-related matters.
  • Confidence and legal acumen to deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong understanding of the Construction Act and other legislation.
