Position Overview

Miltex Solutions Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated **Industrial Sewing Machine Operator** to join our dynamic team. This is a **permanent position** that requires a commitment of **40 hours per week**. No formal education is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training for all new hires.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a **dusty and noisy** environment, which is typical in the textile manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of sewing machines or perform hand sewing tasks.
  • Utilize sewing guides and tension devices to ensure high-quality output.
Materials Handled
  • Work with materials such as **canvas**, **cotton**, and **synthetic fabrics**.
Equipment Experience
  • Familiarity with equipment including **button holers**, **double needle machines**, **industrial sewing machines**, **multi-needle machines**, **piping or binding machines**, **sergers**, **single needle machines**, and **tackers**.
Sewing Expertise

Experience in **commercial sewing** is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
