About our client and role:
Our client is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that provides innovative solutions to automate and scale manual processes. They are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst who is passionate about logistics, data, and finding efficient solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Track and reconcile invoices with Stripe and QuickBooks Online (QBO) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor and reconcile expenses with bank statements to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Develop and implement a control mechanism to reduce monthly expenses and improve profitability.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure expenses are within allocated financial estimates.
- Set up and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Oversee and prepare income statements to provide a clear picture of the company's financial performance.
- Participate in budgeting processes to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Support audit processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Draft and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
- Accounting and financial background preferred.
- Project management experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong people management skills with an aptitude for coaching and team development.
- Experience with QBO is an asset.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
