Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Education Advisor to join our team at the Public Legal Education & Information Unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality digital legal education content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality digital legal education content, including e-courses, videos, webinars, animation, and audio scripts.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Oversee marketing and advertisement initiatives for available education products and services, including social media engagement.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with staff, supervisors, managers, directors, and other stakeholders on the improvement and implementation of current initiatives and training and learning opportunities.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and report on survey data from service providers to inform continuous program improvement and funding proposals.
  • Staying Current: Maintain awareness of trends and issues impacting service delivery, including changes in legislation, court processes, precedent, protocol, or procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: University graduation in a related field (e.g. Educational Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
  • Experience: 2 years of progressively responsible related experience in developing digital content such as learning and development materials.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical, planning, organization, evaluation, and problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of database principles, design, and configuration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Learning Management Systems: Working knowledge of learning management systems, eLearning Authoring Tools, and other eLearning software.
  • Adult Learning Principles: Work experience with adult learning principals and instructional design.
  • Survey Design and Data Analysis: Work experience in survey design, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership work experience, including examples such as chairing a committee, coaching a colleague, or leading a team.
  • Judicial Environment: Working knowledge of the judicial environment and related legislation.
  • Language Skills: Fluent written and oral communication skills in French.
