The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our team at Equitable Bank. As an Operations Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banking services, including customer service, client onboarding, and deposit and registered products processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating as needed.
  • Client Onboarding: Facilitate the regulatory onboarding of customers in an efficient, compliant, and client-centric manner, including reviewing and inputting deposit details into the banking system.
  • Processing: Review and process daily or periodic tasks, including cheque deposits, incoming EFTs, returned items, and transfer-in and transfer-out requests for RRSP and TFSA.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' proven financial services operations experience.
  • Strong computer skills, ability to work independently, and excellent oral/written communication, relationship management, and time management skills.
  • Able to operate effectively within a fast-paced environment with tight time frames and high levels of accuracy.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work in a high volume, high intensity environment.
