Job Summary

SHAWARMA CORNER is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Manage kitchen operations, making decisions to optimize efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of physical activity and repetitive tasks.
  • Dependability, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Work Environment

SHAWARMA CORNER is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be working in a kitchen environment, with a high level of physical activity and repetitive tasks. You will be required to work a 35-hour week, with occasional overtime as needed.
