Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Advisor to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As an Operations Advisor, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and improving EBITDA results for our assigned portfolio of Co-op Home Centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local Co-op Senior Managers to identify sales improvement opportunities and develop sales action plans.
  • Improve EBITDA results for the assigned portfolio and work with Senior Leaders to develop action plans and operational reviews.
  • Provide recommendations on renovations, expansions, and store layouts, and work with local Co-ops to design and implement effective solutions.
  • Review image and merchandising standards, and offer guidance and support to local Co-op Leaders to ensure a proper customer experience.
  • Provide feedback to Home Office on local market conditions, competitive pricing, and marketing activity.
  • Approximately 60% annual travel.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management with direct exposure to hardware and/or building materials.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
