Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Karnal Freight System is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and communication.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the road.
