We are seeking a talented and experienced frontend engineer with expertise in React to join our team as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Alora Labs Inc.

About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products, with a focus on React development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to translate requirements into functional and responsive user interfaces using React.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members on React best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly within the React ecosystem.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth in React development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality frontend solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years working as a frontend engineer, with a strong focus on web application development using React.
  • Expertise in React, including experience with React hooks, context API, and popular libraries and tools within the React ecosystem.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design using React.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services using React.
  • Proficient understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
