Opportunity Awaits: Taxation Manager for Canada
We are seeking a talented Taxation Manager in Canada to become a vital part of our international tax division at Thomson Reuters. In this role, you will collaborate with professionals in Transfer Pricing, Treasury, Legal, and Finance, while enjoying a flexible work arrangement based in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive evaluations of global reorganizations and transactions from a Canadian tax viewpoint.
- Developing financial models and automating processes by leveraging data from internal resources.
- Overseeing intercompany loans, surplus and cost basis calculations, and ensuring tax compliance.
- Preparing income tax provisions and assisting with tax audits.
- Maintaining adherence to current tax regulations and implementing process enhancements.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in Canadian and international taxation.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and excellent analytical capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management competencies.
