Convenience Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Convenience Store Manager to join our team at Leader Highway Kitchen. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our convenience store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Direct and control daily store operations, including managing inventory, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Evaluate daily operations to ensure excellent customer service, resolve customer complaints, and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales, plan and organize daily operations to meet sales targets, and monitor revenues and expenses.
- Staffing and Development: Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing team.
- Green Job and Diversity Initiatives: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes, provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees, and provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
