About the Role:

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance market share for the shopping center. This role will report directly to the General Manager and will work closely with the National Director, Marketing and Digital Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans, including strategies and tactics to increase traffic and sales.
  • Promote the shopping center through various channels, including advertising, social media, and public relations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with tenants, customers, and community stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate marketing events, promotions, and activities.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and branding.

Requirements:

  • Related post-secondary diploma or university degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing or related experience.
  • Knowledge of retail industry and branding tactics an asset.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to actively participate in mall events and set up.
  • Superior oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to exercise confidentiality.
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple graphic/publisher programs.
  • Well-versed in social marketing opportunities.
  • Experience with the implementation and management of social media.
  • A criminal verification check is required for employment.
