Job Summary:
RONA Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business in the contractors/Pro industry by driving sales through hunting potential clients, cultivating new accounts, and maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect new potential clients: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Nurture existing relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, including regular job site visits.
- Achieve sales targets: Meet and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.
- Promote Value Proposition: Effectively communicate the value of our products and services to each customer, growing Share of Wallet with a high close rate.
- Provide expert advice: Offer accurate information on our products and services, including price and delivery quotation, sourcing new or unusual products, and completing material estimates as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the internal team to track prospects, quotes, quantity estimation, and orders to ensure efficient sales cycle management.
- Manage credit and accounts: Work with the credit department to follow up on overdue accounts and arrange special payment terms as approved by the Credit Administrator.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service orientation: Build trust-based relationships with clients.
- General knowledge of the multi-family construction and property management verticals: Mandatory.
- Strong sales acumen: Achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Experience in customer outreach and cold calling: Essential.
- Ability to work independently: Manage time and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in computer tools and sales management software: Required.
- Valid driver's license: Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
