About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Child Caregiver at GURJANT SINGH VIRK. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized home environment, ensuring the well-being and health of the children.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to the children, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Transportation: Safely transport children to and from school, appointments, and other activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health information, and other relevant details.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain open communication with parents, ensuring they are informed of their child's daily activities and any concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, patience, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking environment, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Language

The primary language of communication will be English.
