Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install vinyl decking materials
Work Environment:

As a Vinyl Floor Layer, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. You will be required to work at heights, bend, and kneel frequently.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Physically demanding work environment
Working Conditions:

Our team members work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
