Job Title: Childcare Cook

We are seeking a skilled Childcare Cook to join our team at Creative Childcare Centre. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portions and costs to ensure efficient meal planning and preparation.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet the needs of our children.
  • Prepare dishes for children with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Order supplies and equipment to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Bondable.
  • Vulnerable sector check.
  • Criminal record check.
