Position Overview:

This role involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities as a NetSuite System Administrator. You will collaborate closely with departmental leaders to identify their challenges, propose solutions, and provide ongoing support through effective ticket management. A strong grasp of various financial modules is essential, as is the ability to strategize for application growth and execute project initiatives. A proactive and hands-on approach is expected for the daily operations, administration, maintenance, support, development, and prioritization of support requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and test changes within the NetSuite environment.
  2. Facilitate data import processes and migration activities.
  3. Coordinate bi-annual updates for the NetSuite platform.
  4. Implement configurations and customizations tailored to NetSuite.
  5. Provide continuous systems and technical support.
  6. Possess a solid understanding of billing, payments, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenue recognition, planning, auditing, and reporting.
  7. Act as the primary contact for all matters related to the NetSuite platform.
  8. Lead testing, planning, execution, and optimization efforts.
  9. Engage with end-users to comprehend business needs and identify optimal solutions.
  10. Conduct daily operations, maintenance, support, and troubleshooting while prioritizing support requests.
  11. Manage and assist with customizations, custom objects, integrations, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, emails, and custom buttons/links.
  12. Support the configuration, development, and ongoing evolution of the NetSuite ERP system.
  13. Customize and maintain reports, dashboards, workbooks, and saved searches.
  14. Support existing customizations including workflows, custom records, roles, etc.
  15. Serve as a delivery lead, coordinating activities, meetings, milestones, and more for critical initiatives.
  16. Contribute significantly to the platform roadmap, considerations, and standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. NetSuite Administration certification or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  4. Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and business disciplines.
  5. Confidently provide support and training to users across departments.
  6. Propose best practices and challenge existing processes.
  7. A motivated individual focused on continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
  8. Self-managing and proactive in approach.
  9. Experience in managing, triaging, and prioritizing incidents and tasks in a support capacity.
  10. Hands-on expertise in procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed asset management, dashboards, role management, integration setup, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteFlow.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  2. Relevant NetSuite Certifications.
  3. Experience supporting NetSuite platforms in larger, highly customized environments.
