Position Overview
As the Outlets Manager, you will be responsible for guiding your team to exceed guest expectations and foster memorable experiences. Your leadership is crucial as you serve as a mentor, educator, and role model for your staff. You will strive for excellence by empowering your team to make informed business decisions that prioritize outstanding guest service while achieving key financial objectives and performance indicators for the department. Your leadership will be evident throughout the onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and communication processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage in daily operations to ensure high-quality first impressions at all dining venues.
- Coach team members to anticipate guest needs, respond swiftly, and provide a warm welcome to all patrons.
- Foster positive relationships and effective communication with all departments and team members, aiding the hotel and its teams in achieving their objectives.
- Equip direct reports with the necessary resources, training, guidance, coaching, and feedback for their ongoing development.
- Develop staff schedules that align with peak demand periods while adhering to budgeted labor costs. Monitor expense lines to remain within budgetary limits.
- Deliver assigned tasks with minimal follow-up required, ensuring timeliness, scope, and quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 3 years in a leadership position is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- ProServe certification is necessary.
- A wine education certificate is preferred.
- Must be tech-savvy.
Working Conditions
This role may involve day, afternoon, or evening shifts throughout the week, including weekends. The position requires extended periods of standing and walking, along with potential lifting and bending. There may be instances of independent work and brief exposure to cooler temperatures due to the nature of the environment.
