About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Nithview Community, a seniors' community in New Hamburg, ON. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Deliver medication as required
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional condition
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
  • Personal Support Worker certificate from an accredited Ontario Community College or a Registered Private College
  • Comprehensive skills and knowledge of providing person-centered care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Medication administration experience preferred (training will be provided)
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning and continuous improvement
