Job Summary: HMW Recruiters Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing compliance and tax provisions for a diverse range of clients, including financial services, technology, communications, energy, and multinationals with complex tax obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare corporate, personal, trust, and partnership returns.
- Collaborate with clients to gain a deep understanding of their businesses and provide expert tax guidance.
- Assist partners in providing expertise on compliance, provisions, and identifying planning opportunities for new business.
- Correspond with lawyers and CRA on tax inquiries and audits.
- Maintain tax knowledge and provide tax updates and training to internal staff, supporting their development.
Requirements: The successful candidate will be a CPA with completion (or near completion) of the in-depth tax course and proven expertise at the manager level. Ideally, you will have experience providing tax services to public companies and large, complex corporations. You must have excellent client relations skills, strong mentoring abilities, and efficient project management skills.
