Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to join our team at 098-Broadway Physiotherapy. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing customized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to clients with hand and upper extremity injuries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' hand and upper extremity function to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in hand therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
Requirements
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) is required.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia or Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
