Position Overview
As an Educational Support Instructor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing student learning experiences through various tutoring methods. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Learning Services instructors with various tasks, including maintaining records and gathering student-friendly support materials.
  • Working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Engaging in mentorship and training opportunities for professional growth.

  • Adhering to the policies and regulations set forth by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
  • Availability for up to 9 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, with flexibility to accommodate students' schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in specific subject areas and online tutoring.
  • At least 6 months of tutoring experience in an online learning environment within the last 2 years.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in using the internet, email, MS Office Suite, and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
  • A commitment to valuing diversity in the educational setting.
