About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving strategic financial planning methods, conducting variance analysis, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to support business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Assess performance and identify risks and opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to drive business growth.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Monitor and analyze monthly and quarterly performance, understanding internal and external performance drivers, and managing forecasting reports to inform business decisions.
  • Business Intelligence: Provide business intelligence for decision support, reporting financial results and recommendations to business partners, and working on strategic financial models and insights with senior executives.
  • Financial Close Processes: Assist with financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Financial Reporting Tools: Proficiency in financial reporting tools, including experience with Cost Models and knowledge of month-end closings.
  • Management Reporting and Budget Forecasting: Expertise in management reporting and budget forecasting, with a strong grasp of Monthly Financial Reporting.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA preferred, with 3+ years' experience in financial analysis and planning.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent presentation skills, ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions, and a strong work ethic.
