Your Role:
As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of patient care services. Your responsibilities will encompass the transportation of patients and essential equipment across various departments within the healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the safe and efficient movement of patients and equipment to designated areas.
- Manage the distribution and replenishment of medical supplies throughout the units.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and patient care environments as directed.
- Transport laboratory specimens, blood products, and patient documentation as needed.
- Report any issues related to supplies and safety to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess a minimum of:
- Completion of Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a service worker role, particularly within an operating room environment, is highly desirable.
