Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Labourer to join our team at Nutri-Lawn Ottawa. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape
  • Cut grass and maintain lawn areas
  • Rake and collect refuse and debris
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, sod cutters, tractors, and power mowers
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a variable schedule. You will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and working in a variety of weather conditions.
