Key Responsibilities- Business Needs Assessment:
- Lead technical needs assessment for multi-stakeholder, geospatial solution discovery projects
- Foster engagement and develop effective requirement gathering strategies
- Experience with business and use case modelling, conceptual and logical data modelling
- Rapidly and succinctly document discovery outcomes
- Assess client business requirements and identify best technology solutions
- Identify, research, develop and assess information related to architecture and data management options
- Evaluate directions, trends, standards and policies in a complex and evolving environment
- Communication Experience:
- Communicate, present, facilitate and lead client dialogues to reach agreement on technological requirements
- Provide advice, lead workshops, develop and deliver presentations to clients and senior management
- Establish successful working relationships with management, staff and clients
- Participate in committees and contribute to project status meetings
- Resolve conflict
- Communicate technical concepts to lay audiences
- Negotiate to achieve consensus
- Technical Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of geospatial data and development
- Lead geospatial based projects
- Lead IT Infrastructure modernization and maintenance focused projects
- Experience with ArcGIS Portal and/or ArcGIS Online
- Business analysis processes, tools, technology, methodologies and modelling expertise
- Identify and assess the impacts of new solutions or enhancements on existing services and infrastructure
- Product management life cycle, developing a product vision and strategy
- Integrate product objectives, goals and metrics
- Software development life cycles, software design, development and integration
- Industry trends in user experience design, integrated systems, solutions and infrastructure
- Experience leading technical needs assessment for multi-stakeholder, geospatial solution discovery projects
- Experience fostering engagement, and developing effective requirement gathering strategies
- Strong business analysis skills
