This position is part of the Anti-Fraud Centre at Banque Laurentienne.
The technical analysts within our Anti-Fraud Centre play a crucial role in managing client inquiries efficiently and effectively. They are responsible for assessing and directing inquiries to the appropriate senior analysts for further action.
The primary duties include responding to client calls, securing accounts affected by fraud, escalating significant issues to senior analysts, initiating investigation files, and restoring access to accounts once transactions are verified.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 11h30-20h00
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries about lost or stolen cards
- Manage alerts within transaction monitoring systems
- Provide reassurance to clients who have experienced fraud, implement protective measures for their accounts, and initiate investigations
- Facilitate the replacement of cards and other access credentials
- Authorize cash advances and purchases for merchants according to established guidelines
- Assist clients with automated banking services, IVRS, and electronic networks, while managing relevant subscriptions and modifications
- Educate clients on the Bank's policies and procedures, including pricing structures
Qualifications
- DEC
- Minimum of two years in customer service
- Self-sufficient and proactive
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in a Windows environment and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of an additional language is advantageous
- Required Qualification: Professional working proficiency in both French and English is essential, as the role involves frequent communication on complex matters with various stakeholders in both languages
