As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of approximately 12-15 operators and ensuring the safe, environmentally conscious, and cost-effective production of premium Kraft pulp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a crew of operators and ensure the safe and efficient production of Kraft pulp
  • Work closely with the department day staff, including Operating Superintendents, Process Engineers, Maintenance, and E/I, to execute strategies and initiatives that drive safety, environmental compliance, quality, and production goals
  • Provide leadership to various operational areas of the mill, ensuring the safe and cost-effective production of high-quality Kraft market pulp
  • Manage multiple tasks and promote safe work practices
  • Ensure consistent adherence to ISO standards for quality and environmental management
  • Adhere to labor contract and comply with all company procedures

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Strong science, math, and mechanical aptitudes
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to lead and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
