As a Senior Buildings Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing projects, developing solutions, and overseeing the design, inspection, and implementation of electrical systems for various types of buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of the electrical engineering group's technical expertise to meet client needs
  • Analyze and solve complex problems, identify work methods, and coordinate project completion
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, industry contacts, and other departments within CIMA+
  • Supervise and manage electrical engineering team members, including engineers, technicians, and support staff
  • Evaluate technical work, delegate responsibilities, and provide instructions
  • Prepare and respond to proposals in collaboration with the assigned team
Qualifications:
  • University degree in electrical engineering
  • Registered member of a Professional Engineering association in Canada
  • Over 7 years' experience in electrical engineering in the buildings sector
  • Experience in managing teams of professional engineers (an asset)
  • Knowledge and experience in the consulting engineering market and with clients in Calgary and surrounding area (an asset)
