Position Overview

K & H Tile Inc is seeking a skilled Tilesetter to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in tile installation and demonstrate a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in tile installation
Work Environment

The position requires working in various locations, adapting to different settings and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be tiled
  • Set tiles in position and apply pressure to secure them
  • Ensure tiles are aligned and straightened
  • Fill grout into joints between tiles and clean excess
  • Replace cracked or damaged tiles as necessary
  • Construct underbeds and install necessary supports
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite materials
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
  • Capable of lifting heavy loads
  • Comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Strong attention to detail
Tools and Equipment

Applicants must have their own steel-toed safety boots.
