Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Engineering Lead to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, designers, and technicians in delivering infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers, designers, and technicians in delivering infrastructure projects
  • Manage a variety of projects, including infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments
  • Provide technical guidance to a team of Professional Engineers, EITs, and designers
  • Carry out estimates of project costs, analysis, and calculations
  • Maintain and develop business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Alberta
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering and project management
  • Experience in municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects
  • Strong project management, technical, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills
  • Effective verbal communicator, including presentation, facilitation, and listening skills
