Position Overview

The Warehouse Distribution Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operations of our distribution center at Paramount Agro Industries Inc. This position requires a strong leader who can manage daily activities and ensure optimal productivity.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a supervisory role
Work Environment

This role is set within a fast-paced warehouse environment, where the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on operational performance.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery.
  • Resolve operational challenges and provide technical guidance to improve productivity and quality.
  • Recruit, hire, and train new staff, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and arrange necessary training for staff development.
  • Manage work schedules and establish efficient procedures for daily operations.
  • Plan and oversee logistics to ensure timely distribution of products.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 3-4 individuals, including:

  • Purchasing and inventory clerks
  • Shippers and receivers
  • Storekeepers and parts clerks
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is required:

  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Word
  • MS Windows
Physical Requirements

The role involves:

  • Handling heavy loads (up to 9 kg or 20 lbs)
  • Maintaining attention to detail in a dynamic environment
