Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our fleet of trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including tire checks, brake adjustments, and emergency roadside repairs
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • Valid Air Brakes Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience an asset, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with MYT Trucking Ltd, you will be working on the road, with regular overnight stays and varying schedules. You will be required to work 40 to 50 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
